quaint atmosphere, spacious courtyard, historic charm
The interior staircase is a narrow climb that might not work for everyone, especially with luggage in tow!!! The bathroom location requires navigating an old spiral staircase, which could be inconvenient for some guests!!!

The cozy fireplace and lovely garden courtyard enhanced our stay, allowing for relaxing evenings. However, the narrow winding staircase was challenging, especially with luggage, and a better breakfast setup would have improved the experience. Despite these issues, we appreciated the charming character of the cottage.

i almost thought about giving this place a good review, but then i remembered the sticky tv remote and those tiny, unsafe stairs. i mean, woudl it have been so hard to offer complimentary water bottles? i paid for two nights, not an obstacle course! defintely not the " historic " experience i was hoping for.

Phillip and Judy are delightful hosts! The location is perfect, just a stroll away from everything. The cozy cottage was just right for two and the charming layout had us giggling on the staircase.
That staircase? A bit of a workout, darling! Also, coordinating parking felt like managing a game of Tetris, but we survived, barely!

Recommend it for travelers seeking charm
We really enjoyed the beautiful garden courtyard! It was the perfect spot for sipping wine after a long day, and the feeling of privacy made it special.
It wasn’t budget-friendly, but for what you get, it was still okay.
